    My role was quite a unique one that required me to cover the roles of an Architect, IT manager, Building Information Modelling Manager, Systems architect and Cloud architect all within one role.

    Due to Hale's size and requirements at the time Hale needed all of the following roles but sat at a tipping point between when it needed the roles in-house. As someone who could offer a suitable knowledge level in all their required needs my role was created.

    This role has given me the chance to learn new technologies and then implement them in a real-world environment with all of my work being live and user-tested.

    I gained experience in managing large projects and working with 3rd parties at different scales.

    Key Achievements
    • Spearheaded ISO 19650 compliance company-wide
    • Build a flexible cloud-based infrastructure to suit Hale's hybrid work approach and start expansion using Microsoft Azure
    • Designed and deployed a SharePoint site to help better facilitate a hybrid approach to working as well as to support standards enforcement
    •  Introduce Agile Scrum methodology to facilitate a more efficient workflow in addition to blending that to be compatible with the RIBA stage 1-7 plan of work.
    • Help developed Hales BIM Infrastructure and training staff.
    • Operated in a flexible Design role both directly designing and managing projects as well as supporting other design teams with my Technical Graphical, CGI, and BIM skill sets.
    • I built bespoke tools primarily in Python as plugins for Revit via PYRevit and standalone applications via Docker or as a stand-alone Windows application.
    •  Introduced a plethora of new tools in addition to also providing and creating training, templates, and technical recourses either independently or within the OEM.
